Monoprinting, a form of printmaking,
involves the creation of a master
plate from which only one image can be made. A piece of glass, used as the printing plate, was prepared by painting the image in reverse with acrylics. The paper was pressed by hand into the glass, then pulled from the plate, leaving the image you see here. "Stonington
