Living Room Before
& After
Before this country living
room felt small because of the furniture arrangement, dark fireplace and
the large dark sofa, chair and ottoman. |
|
After rearranging the furniture,
moving the television armoire, chair and ottoman to another room, adding
new window treatments, covering the old border, renting a few pieces of
smaller furniture, and faux painting the brick fireplace, this room now
feels inviting, comfortable and spacious. The new furniture and accessories
were rented from Interiors by ELR Designs.
Dramatic Fireplace
Facelift
Upon walking into this 2,000
square foot farm house, you now can't help but notice the main focal point:
the fireplace. Located between the kitchen and living room, we needed
to not only make it the main attraction, but also neutralize it by making
it less country and more chic. We simply replaced the mantle shelf,
and had Erin L. Rhindress apply a faux painting technique which pulled
colors from the kitchen and living rooms. This allows both rooms
to relate to one another and give a better continuity.
Kitchen
By simply clearing away some
of the excess items and adding a bit of color with fruit, flowers and a
few well placed accessories, this kitchen now feels fresh and inviting.

removal of all the furniture, a new chandelier, the smaller table from
the kitchen, and a few rented original paintings by Erin L. Rhindress this

bathroom drama
This bathroom was off to a great
start, all it needed was a little drama! So after we took out some
furniture and added a few candles, a valance of the shower door, some accessories
and a picture from another room, we achieved that warm, dramatic, inviting
feeling.
