holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from
the University of Connecticut. She relocated from Boston, MA where she worked in graphic design, architecture and interior design. Once in the Springfield, MA area, Erin taught private art lessons to local elementary school students, but has since taken sabbatical from teaching to raise a family.
ELRDesigns.com was established in 1998 by Erin as a way to showcase and sell her art work. In addition to her online gallery, Erin travels to local fine art shows to display and sell her paintings. In 2000 Erin started Interiors by ELR Designs to help people decorate and sell their homes.
She has received awards and exhibited her work in public and private collections. At The Cultural Arts Alliance of Hopkinton, MA Erin received first place for her still-life oil painting titled "Fruits & Veggies". At the 2002 & 2003 Southington Apple Harvest Art Festival in CT, Erin won best in show and best in category respectively.
